Skipper Terry Weaver has an intimate knowledge of halibut fishing and salmon fishing gained from over 25 years of commercial and sport fishing in the waters around Prince Rupert and the north coast of British Columbia. Terry holds a Masters certificate in Marine Safety, and is a member of the Chatham Sound Charter Association.

The biggest Halibut caught in Chatham Sound near Prince Rupert recently was 324 lbs. Catching a 100 lb+ halibut is a very real possibility with Terry's Prince Rupert Fishing Charters. The largest salmon caught in the sound was 76 lbs., with 50 lbs.+ being caught virtually every day. Terry's BC Fishing Charters' biggest salmon weighed in at a whopping 57 lbs.

Tyee pins - earned for salmon catches over 30 lbs - were awarded to 41 Terry's BC Fishing Charters clients last fishing season between May 25 and July 17. So far this season, every Prince Rupert fishing charter trip has returned with multiple pins.
