This year I am happy to announce the acquisition of the fishing lodge at Dunira island, situated approx 25 miles northwest of Prince Rupert BC. This is a nice little private lodge tucked right in the middle of the very best fishing grounds anywhere on the B.C. coast, nestled between the two most productive salmon fishing spots on the North Coast (Stephens and Dundas Island), and within minutes of the great jigging rock piles of Prince Leboo Island and absolutely amazing big halibut fishing just offshore. It is a place that must be experienced to be believed. Come by plane or by boat. The choice is yours, With four days you will have the choice of crabbing, prawning, salmon or halibut fishing, whale watching, and jigging for ground fish. How much you do of each is totally up to you. There is also an opportunity to visit the grizzlies in the famed Khutzamateen Valley or to chase the elusive Alaska king crab along the American border. Depending on availability you can fish from a 40 foot welded aluminum boat that has all of the amenities, as well as a 35 foot fiberglass that is comfortable and fast. If these boats are booked during your intended trip, we have a number of fully equipped 26 foot boats at your disposal. All trips are guided and no small open boats are involved.
